The Inaugural 2021 IPC Awards were proudly sponsored by HUB Parking Technology
It is our great pleasure to announce the winners of the inaugural 2021 IPC Awards, presented at the 2021 IPC Annual Conference Gala Dinner
In choosing the winner, the judges were conscious of the unique situation presented by Covid-19 and the need for thinking that was “outside the box” in negotiating an unprecedented global health, economic, and social crisis as it applied to the parking industry. Furthermore, RingGo displayed an admirable level of service to both motorists and parking operators alike, that was sufficiently flexible to cope with the day-to-day changes and challenges presented by the pandemic
In deciding upon Cornwall Council as the winner, the judges were impressed with their team’s efficiency and engagement with the public, in covering a large geographical area with a comparatively small team.
While all parking organisations have had to face multiple challenges because of coronavirus, the hurdles that Cornwall Council had to overcome because of an influx of domestic tourism, on account of international travel restrictions, was also noted - along with a solid dedication to staff training, personal development, and induction.

The IPC Outstanding Employee Award was arguably the most competitive IPC Award category, and it was very tough to separate some truly outstanding nominees.
Rebecca was described by colleagues as “conscientious and willing to go that extra mile” and that Rebecca's “contribution to the business is massively valued.” Other colleagues spoke of “compassion” and that she is always “approachable, caring, kind and supportive despite being run off their feet most days.”
