They provide emotional and practical support through peer led support groups including online and outdoor activities, holistic therapies, one to one counselling, bespoke in memorial events, interactive therapies such as music, animal and art therapy, memory making events in our hydrotherapy pool, movie & sensory room and play room, in addition to in-house apartment breaks.
IPC Fundraising Event
Well done to Chris and Jaclyn for completing there challenges raising money for Reuben's Retreat.
On 16 May, Jackie took on Born Survivor,
a gruelling
10k obstacle course that tested grit, determination and commitment.
Battling the cold, rain, mud, steep hills, fire, obstacles and yes... even cow pats, Jackie tackled the 1-hour 45-minute course and absolutely smashed it, helping to raise over £4000 for our chosen charity, Reuben’s Retreat. ๐
Then it was Chris’s turn...
On 31 May, just one day after an all-inclusive (indulgent) holiday full of food, drink and sunshine, Chris took on the Manchester Half Marathon, that’s 13.1 miles of pure regret.
Currently, Jackie is wiping the floor with Chris in the votes... can we help boost him into first place? Just imagine running a half marathon straight after an all-inclusive holiday. He deserves all the support he gets! ๐
