  • Will Hurley, CEO International Parking Community (IPC Place 10.30)

    Will Hurley is the CEO and founder of The International Parking Community (IPC). Will founded The IPC in 2012 with the express purpose of raising standards across the UK parking industry for the benefit of motorists and parking operators alike. 


    Will has been invited to sit on government advisory boards related to the parking industry and regarding other matters like the adequate provision of parking facilities for Blue Badge holders, he is also working with Government to help realise a Single Code of Practice that is fair for the compliant motorist and continues to raise standards across the Private Parking Industry.  Will’s experience has given him extensive knowledge of the Private Parking Industry and finding solutions to the problems that frequently occur from it. Will has been very vocal in interviews and social media about the problems that arise from repeat offenders and finding a suitable deterrent.  


    Will holds a degree in Law from Keele University and runs a 200-acre Peak District farm with 400+ sheep and cattle. Will is married to Rachel, a Cheshire-based veterinarian with 2 sons. 

  • Peter O'Driscoll, CEO, RingGo (IPC Place 11.00)

    Peter is the UK Managing Director of RingGo, which creates software solutions for drivers, cities and operators that make finding, accessing and paying for parking quick, simple and effortless. Millions of motorists currently use RingGo's software in the UK.

    His wide-ranging parking industry experience commenced in 2004, when he joined NCP quickly progressing to Head of Sales, where, amongst a host of other achievements, he used his knowledge of the vehicle leasing industry to drive the development of NCP’s Gateway card – a dedicated parking solution for businesses.

    Five years later he transferred to the then fledgling Parkmobile Group, heading up the UK business as Managing Director, and spearheading the growth of cashless parking across the country. Following the merger of RingGo and Parkmobile in 2012, Peter oversaw the growth of the UK’s number one cashless parking solution, taking the UK base from a few million to the 19 million registered customers it has today.

    RingGo’s mission is to make our cities healthier, cleaner and more liveable and pioneered the world’s first emission-based parking products which was recognised in the 2019 European Parking Award and various UK accolades. RingGo is an active participant in the Department for Transport UK National Parking Platform which will bring more choice and innovation to consumers as more operators join the platform.

    Chris has a key leadership role at the heart of the IPC. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with all members, partners & interested parties and the wider strategic growth of the IPC

  • Mark Wilson, Chief Commercial Officer, ZatPark (IPC Place 11.30)

    Mark joined Unity5 in July 2023 as Chief Commercial Officer, where he is primarily responsible for ensuring that high levels of customer service are maintained and enhanced as the company continues to expand its customer base and experience rapid growth.


    Mark is an experienced leader in the technology sector, having worked to deliver software and services to customers across different industry sectors for nearly thirty years.


    An engineer by background, Mark started his career implementing Product Data Management systems for a division of Siemens. Working with clients both nationally and internationally, Mark’s career saw him move through a series of management roles in implementation services, ultimately being promoted to Vice President for Professional Services across Europe.


    After leaving Siemens, Mark gained experience working in SaaS as well as enterprise business systems, holding senior leadership positions at a number of international technology businesses.

    Most recently, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer at Tribal Group, a market-leading software and SaaS business in the EdTech sector serving Universities and Further Education organizations.

    Over his years working in technology, Mark has developed a keen interest in helping customers achieve real business benefits through the adoption of technology solutions.



  • Jason Barbour, CEO, Barbour Logic (IPC Place 11.30)

    Jason founded Barbour Logic who work with 60 UK partners. The company’s AI products answer queries from drivers, for example about PCNs. It’s a win-win. Drivers get tailored advice – and no operator staff time is needed. 


    Unrivalled innovation award wins include the British Parking Technology Award in both 2021 and 2022, the Parkex Innovation Trail Awards in 2023 (Judges’ winner and People’s winner), and several other awards for innovation.


    Barbour Logic have launched another UK first. Voice Master is an AI helpline. It not only handles your PCN calls like an expert human; it also covers the call topics required by the Code of Practice (CoP). This innovation means Voice Master becomes your call centre for PCN and CoP calls, handling your calls like an expert human while freeing up your staff.


  • Majid Khan, Head of Campus Support Services, University of Leeds (Feature Corner 11.40)

    Majid has been the Head of Campus Support Services at the University of Leeds since 2012. He is responsible for a number of services, one of which is the management of car parking operations on campus. He developed the current systems in place at the University that incorporate ANPR technology with permit systems as well as managing their own enforcement operations.  Leeds is one of the few universities that issue and process their own PCNs. He is chair of the IPC Higher Education Interest Group and has supported other Universities in improving their car parking systems and processes.


    Majid started his career at the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, initially on a graduate management programme before moving into project management and later as Head of Customer Services. He delivered many high profile projects including the WY concessionary scheme that delivered smartcards to 350k concessionary permit holders.

  • Colin Brown, Motorcycle Action Group (Feature Corner 12.45)

    Colin Brown has been Director of Campaigns and Political Engagement for the Motorcycle Action Group since 2018.  Prior to taking the national role Colin worked as a MAG volunteer holding elected positions as MAG’s West Midlands Region Rep and political officer.  

    Working with local and national government to get a better deal for motorcyclists has become an all-consuming passion.  

    Motorcyclists are disproportionately impacted by vehicle theft with owners on average 11 times more likely to become victims of this crime than car owners.  Colin’s previous career in the security industry makes this an area of particular interest for him, and he sees the parking industry as one that can offer great potential to redress the motorcycle imbalance in the theft figures, as well as releasing the potential environmental benefits of increased prevalence of motorcycles in the transport system.

  • Anne Snelson, Lead With Sustainability (IPC Place 14.25)

    Anne Snelson is founder of Lead with Sustainability, a sustainability, training, marketing and communications consultancy which helps individuals and businesses cut emissions. 


    Having spent her formative years in St Andrews, Scotland, Anne completed a BSc in Statistics at Newcastle University. She spent the next 2.5 years as an Assistant, then Senior Assistant Statistician for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (now DeFRA). 


    Anne’s lifelong interest in transport commenced with four years as a Policy Researcher for the Automobile Association. After gaining a Diploma in Marketing, she transferred into communications and marketing with telecoms giant, Vodafone, where she rose to Senior Marketing Manager, at the same time completing her MBA.


    While her children were small, she spent a few years as an Oxford College of Marketing Tutor, joining RingGo phone parking in 2008 during its formative years. Here she helped take the fledgling company from a handful of Councils to the market leader with the 150 Councils it has today. 


    In 2021, driven by a desire to act upon climate change, Anne left RingGo to join neighbourhood charging company, Co Charger. After a brief foray into AI driven traffic sensors, supporting modal shift and active travel, Anne set up her company Lead with Sustainability, where she is today.


    Anne is a Certified Carbon Literacy Project trainer and has gained one of Cambridge University’s prestigious Business Management qualifications from the Institute for Sustainability Leadership. 


    She lives in Farnham, Surrey, has two adult children and a dog named Skye.



  • Sarah Hubbard, Business Development Manager,RingGo (IPC Place 14.45)

    Sarah Hubbard is a parking professional with over 8 years of proven experience in the industry. Beginning her career in the private operator space, she quickly established herself as a dedicated and knowledgeable contributor to the sector. In 2021, her career led her into the realm of cashless phone payments, where she now heads up the private operator new business team at RingGo. Combining deep industry knowledge with a passion for leveraging technology, Sarah prides herself in cultivating collaboration across the parking sector, shaping its future landscape and commitment to continuously raise standards.

  • Cat Smith, Communications & Social Media, IPC (Feature Corner 14.25)

    Cat Smith looks after Communications, Digital Marketing and Social Media at the International Parking Community. Cat has over 10 years of experience working in social media and communications. Previous to her role at the IPC she looked after communications and social media for television personalities in London. Her diverse background gives her a unique viewpoint on social media, digital marketing and communications strategy.  Join Cat for her session on "Parking and Social Media" for a fresh perspective on how to best promote, discuss and protect parking on social media.

  • Jaclyn Thomas, Compliance Auditor, IPC (Feature Corner 14.50)

    Jaclyn has been a member of the team at The IPC for over two years. Working within the compliance team, she carries out  operator Annual Audit & Assistance meetings giving advice and support whilst ensuring our members remain compliant with the Code of practice.
