Louis began his career working in telecommunications network planning in South Africa.
During his career in parking management, Louis has managed teams of people engaged in civil enforcement administration activities ranging across several disciplines including Bus Lane enforcement, private car park enforcement, on-street and off-street enforcement under a variety of legal instruments.
As such it has always been important for Louis to keep abreast of the ever-changing legislation and best practice within the sector. It is also a very competitive environment, so keeping up to date with technology to improve efficiency and offer a better experience for the motorist is vital.
Louis has worked with the parking industry bodies to develop Ofqual recognised qualifications for parking professionals and today Louis continues to deliver training and to promote development of parking staff through the Training and Development Academy (TDA) which was established in partnership between TRACE and Uniti in 2017.
